Shopping on a Team, School or Group Store
Last updated
If you're buying merch for a team, school, company, or event, you may be shopping through that group's own Custom Store rather than the shop's main site. Here's what's different.
What a team/group store is
Organizations can get their own branded mini-store — with the products, colors, and designs that group has set up — hosted on the print shop's site. It looks and feels like its own store, with its own homepage, product selection, and checkout.
Finding the right store
Your team, school, or organizer should give you a direct link to their store. If you're not sure you're in the right place, check the store's branding/name at the top of the page against what you were told, since a shop may host many different group stores.
Shopping and checking out
Shopping works the same as the main site — browse products, design if the store allows customization, add to cart, and check out. A few things can differ store to store:
- Pricing may include the organization's own markup (their fundraiser margin, for example) on top of the shop's base price — this is normal and set intentionally by the organizer, not a mistake.
- Shipping or pickup options may be different than the main site — some stores offer group pickup instead of individual shipping.
- Personalization (like your name and number on a jersey) may be built into how the store's products are set up.
- The store may have a close date — after which it stops accepting orders, common for team/fundraiser stores tied to a season or event.
Your cart is scoped to that store
If you also shop on the main site or a different group's store, note that carts don't mix between stores — items you add on one store's site won't appear in your cart on another. If your cart looks empty switching between stores, that's expected behavior, not a bug.
Questions about pricing, timing, or what's included
Since group stores are set up and priced by the organizer (coach, team parent, school, etc.), questions about why something is priced a certain way, order deadlines, or what's included are usually best directed to the organizer first — the print shop fulfills what the store owner has configured.
Setting up your own team store
If you're the one organizing and want to open a store for your group, see Setting Up Your Own Team Store — or contact the print shop directly to get started.
