The Store Owner / Supervisor Panel, Explained

Last updated

Every Advanced Store is managed through a dedicated panel inside the store owner's account — not a separate login, and not the main WordPress admin. This article maps out what's in it.

Where to find it

Log in and go to My Account → Managed Stores → [Store Name]. You'll see a header summarizing the store (with key stats) and a row of tabs for each management area.

What each tab does

  • Setup — operational settings: store slug/URL, visibility, password protection, close date, and approval settings. This is deliberately separate from branding.
  • Customization — branding: logo, colors, hero tagline, and page layout/theme. Same customization tools whether you're the owner, a supervisor, or an admin — full parity.
  • Categories — organize which products appear under which category in the store.
  • Designs — manage the store's design/product library, including images, inventory linkage, and any store-specific pricing/profit settings on designs.
  • Inventory — track stock levels and configure low-stock alerts (see Store Inventory, Profits & Payouts).
  • Orders — every order placed through this specific store.
  • Shipping — store-specific shipping rules, including pickup options if offered.
  • Profit — see the store's margin and payout history.
  • Reports — CSV/PDF exports for vendor worksheets, store orders, and team-order summaries.
  • CSS — advanced styling overrides, for stores that need something beyond what the theme system offers.
  • Texts — customize store-facing copy/wording.
  • Invoice — generate and view store invoices.

Roles: owner vs. supervisor vs. admin

  • Owner — the person the store was created for; full access to their store's panel.
  • Supervisor — someone granted access to help manage a specific store (or stores) without being the primary owner — useful for a coach, teacher, or team parent helping run a store day-to-day.
  • Admin — you. Administrators get a dedicated Supervisors tab in the account sidebar (right after Managed Stores) showing every supervisor across every store, so you can grant or revoke access without hunting through individual stores.

Granting supervisor access

From the admin Supervisors view (or the equivalent screen in wp-admin → Web2ink → Supervisors), assign a user as a supervisor on a specific store. They'll then see that store under their own Managed Stores the next time they log in.

Common questions

Can a supervisor see profit/payout info? Depends on what you've granted them — review the specific permissions when assigning supervisor access if you want to restrict financial visibility.

Why does a store owner see a different set of tabs than I do as admin? Admin access includes the extra Supervisors management tab; day-to-day store tabs are otherwise the same for owners and supervisors with access.
